Celebrating 10 Years of Business

December 19th, 2013 marked 10 years of successful business for Hurricane Labs. In honor of the occasion, the company will celebrate January 8th at their “10th Anniversary Celebration Lunch” with selected employees and clients.

Hurricane Labs, founded in 2003 by Bill Mathews and Glenn Brzuziewski, has seen exponential growth from its beginning. Starting off with only a few employees, Hurricane Labs has grown into a mid-sized business, continuing to employ IT professionals. Today, the company is a leader in the industry offering Splunk managed services, vulnerability management, training and more.

Throughout the years, Hurricane Labs has evolved itself to keep up with the ever-changing IT Security field. Through its vendors of Splunk, Checkpoint, and Qualys, the company has a solution at hand for any IT business plan. The thing that sets Hurricane Labs apart is the teamwork and passion of the engineering team. With a unique combination of technological expertise, educational resources, and 24/7 customer support, Hurricane Labs is able to create a personalized set of security solutions that work to monitor and protect clients.

Having collected several awards, Hurricane Labs has been recognized for excellence and growth. In 2004, Glenn Brzuziewski, co-owner, was presented the Distinguished Service Award for outstanding leadership and service in support of the mission of the Infragard program. Glenn was also presented the Linda Franklin Award in 2005 for contributions to the growth and development of the Northern, Ohio chapter of Infragard. Also in 2005, Hurricane Labs was presented a reward from Check Point for Fastest Growing Partner. In the years 2009, 2011, and 2012, the company won the Weatherhead 100 Outstanding Growth Award. 2010, 2012, 2013 brought recognition from NEO Success, recognizing the most successful companies in North East Ohio. Lastly, In 2012, Bill Mathews, Chief Technical Officer, won Crain’s 40 Under 40 Award.

Hurricane Labs continues to work on growing sales by expanding into new markets and looks forward to new opportunities in the future.
